Palm Springs, CA – Cicada Fine Art is thrilled to congratulate Georges Monfils on winning the @kamalaharrisfilm poster contest! His winning artwork will serve as the official media for all things related to the Kamala film!
KAMALA brings audiences together across the country to celebrate her message of hope and unity at a time when the nation feels more divided than ever.
Each election year, the American people face a choice—a gamble on the future of America with their vote, hoping the elected leader will move the country forward. In these historic times, In this historic moment, Georges Monfils has masterfully captured this sense of hope, excitement, and faith.
As an LGBT immigrant to the United States, Georges has witnessed firsthand the trials and tribulations affecting marginalized communities. Through his artwork, he expresses the excitement and anticipation surrounding Vice President Kamala Harris’ potential to become the first Indian/African American female President of the United States. In his piece, Kamala, Georges meticulously depicts Harris using multiple-colored, six-sided dice, symbolizing the unknown future but also the hope that guides us.
The dice have been cast, we will not go back.
